Turning to the natural world for inspiration as well as material, Britton and Saunders installation of sculptural works is created from wild grape vine gathered from a dense patch of woods along the Chesapeake Bay as well as hundreds of fresh flowers used to compose a large scale tapestry-like installation, all of which reflect the rustic simplicity of the wabi-sabi aesthetic while acknowledging beauty in imperfection.
